In the first game, Adam Thomke (South Williamsport) went 2-for-2 at the plate with two runs batten in, Phil Woodring (Waynesboro) went 2-for-3 with two runs scored and Devon Liquori (Hawley) went 1-for-3 with two runs batted in. In the second game, Woodring went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI, Thomke went 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBI and Garrett Hornung (Emporium) went 2-for-2 with a double and one RBI.SoftballAfter losing twice to the weather, and having four games postponed, the Wildcats finally got on the field Sunday and split with Penn State Hazleton. In the first-game win, Penn College used a four-run seventh inning to pull out the game. Jayme Mease (Elizabethtown) and Erin Bannon (Williamsport) each went 2-for-4. In the nightcap defeat, the Wildcats were limited to two hits.ArcheryShooting outdoors for the first time this season, Pennsylvania College of Technology transitioned well, winning the men's compound and recurve events, while taking third in women's compound in a five-team field at the Adam Wheatcroft Memorial at Harrisonburg, Va. Individually for the Wildcats, Glen Thomas (Mercer) won the male recurve event and James Fanelli (Glastonburg, Conn.) was second. Lindsey Fackler (Halifax) placed second in the women's compound and Danny Wido (Shickshinny) finished third in the men's compound. The team's next outing will be April 25-26, when it hosts the Eastern Regional Championships.
