Go4theGoalThe Penn College women's soccer team is partnering with Go4theGoal to raise money for pediatric cancer initiatives. Monetary donations remain in Pennsylvania to benefit children through financial support, research funding, wish-granting and hospital programs.

Nearing the fourth and final quarter of its monthlong project, the Wildcats encourage the college community to learn more @pctwsoccer on Instagram and Twitter. Coach Christa Matlack has created inspirational profiles of local superheroes that won their battle with childhood cancer, regularly posting installments on social media and encouraging her players to share across their own platforms.

In recent weeks, she has told the stories of Olivia Rogers, of South Williamsport; Vhito DeCapria, of Jersey Shore; and Lia Hart, of Wyalusing. The campaign will close by spotlighting Penn College student Delaney E. Heller, a baking and pastry arts major from Cogan Station whose cancer diagnosis launched a nonprofit foundation.
