Monday, Oct. 18 hosted Luzerne County Community College, W, 2-0 Wednesday, Oct. 20 PCAA Tournament, at Penn State-Abington, L, 1-0 Golf Final overall record: 35-0 Final CCAC/EPCC regular-season record: 10-0 Cross Country Final Men’s overall record: 14-9 Final Men’s EPCC record: 13-0 Final Men’s CCAC record: 11-0 Final Women’s Overall/EPCC record: 9-0 Women’s Volleyball Final overall record: 21-2 Final CCAC-West regular-season record: 8-2 Team Tennis Final overall/CCAC record: 1-7‘Cat Tales Men’s SoccerFive different players scored goals in the Wildcats’ final tune-up for the EPCC/PCAA playoffs, a win over Harrisburg Area Community College that lifted them into the top-seeded spot. The victory did not come without a cost, however, as starting goalie Ryan Swartz (Muhlenberg) suffered a season-ending injury.Women’s Soccer The Lady Wildcats beat Luzerne in their last stop before the PCAA playoffs, getting goals from Marilyn Caldwell (R.J. Reynolds, N.C.) and Stephanie Forsythe (Souderton). Goalie Kim Carbaugh (Northern Lebanon) and the Penn College defense recorded a shutout. Going into its PCAA semifinal match against Penn State Abington, Penn College coach Dan Hibbs said scoring would be the key if his team was to win. The Wildcats, however, managed only three shots on goal in a 1-0 loss that ended their season.
