'Cat TalesBaseball In a split against Alfred (N.Y.) State, the Wildcats scored seven runs in the second inning of the nightcap and Nate Hill (Loyalsock Township) earned the win on the mound. Philip Woodring (Waynesboro) went 5-for-9 at the plate in the two games.

Women's Volleyball The Penn College women fell to Lycoming by scores of 30-11, 30-17 and 30-11 in their opener.

Cross Country While the Penn College men were fourth in an eight-team field, Tom Lambert (Bangor) led the way for the Wildcats with a 12th-place individual finish among 74 runners. The Penn College women did not compete in the meet.
