'Cat TalesBaseball In a doubleheader loss to Allegheny County Community College's South campus, the Wildcats trailed 5-1 in the first game before battling back behind the offense of Devon Liquori (Hawley) only to lose by a run.

Cross CountryCompeting in the Lebanon Valley Invitational against mostly NCAA Division III teams, the Penn College men finished 11th in a 15-team field. Freshman Greg Kammerle (Willow Grove) led the Wildcats with a 28th place finish in 29:03 over 5 miles. For the Penn College women, who didn't compete as a team, freshman Tracey Brewbaker (Middletown) ended 97th in 24:54 over 3.1 miles.

Women's Soccer Carrie Meyer (Ashland, Wisc.) made her collegiate debut an impressive one, scoring four goals as the Lady Wildcats won their season opener ingrand fashion.
