'Cat TalesMen's BasketballThrough its first 12 games heading into the holiday break, Penn College is averaging 75.2 points per game on offense and allowing 74.3. The Wildcats have lost their last four games, all against established NCAA Division III programs. Matt Melusky (Minersville) leads all Penn College scorers with a 14.1-points-per-game average, while Tony Flint (Port Allegany) is averaging 11 ppg, Reynolds 10.5 and Preston Peterson (Williamsport) 9.6.
Women's Basketball Through eight games going into the holiday break, the Penn College women are averaging 61.8 points per game on offense and allowing 63.6. Katlyn Stupar (State College) leads the offense with an 18.3-points-per-game scoring average, while Brittany Blessard (Renovo) is averaging 13.5 ppg.
