A hard-driving Erica Logan, en route to the Lady Wildcats' win against Hazleton.Men's BasketballStepping back into Penn State University Athletic Conference action at home against Penn State Hazleton, Pennsylvania College of Technology outscored its opponent 13-6 in overtime to pull out a win. Craig Flint (Port Allegany) scored 20 points, while Leroy Joiner (Williamsport) and Greg Solyak (Lancaster) each added 16.

At NCAA Division II Mansfield, Penn College fell behind 55-24 at the half in a loss that evened its record at 4-4. Joiner scored 12 points and Solyak 10 for the Wildcats as they shot just 31 percent (20 of 65) from the floor, including just two of 14 from the 3-point line. Mansfield had a 57-to-30 rebound advantage.

Flint poured in a personal season-high 27 points and Simon added 18 in a win at Penn State Mont Alto. Joiner led the squad with 12 rebounds.

Women's BasketballFacing its second NCAA Division II team in a row, the Wildcats fell at Mansfield University. The home team opened a 21-9 lead at the onset before Penn College cut it to 23-16. A 19-9 run helped Mansfield to a 42-25 lead at the half and it pulled away from there. Chelsey Holmes (Hughesville) topped Penn College scorers with 17 points. The Wildcats committed 25 turnovers during the contest.

On the court again less than 24 hours after losing at Mansfield, Penn College got back on the winning track at home against Penn State Hazleton. Erica Logan (Montoursville) led the Wildcats' scoring with a personal season-high 24 points.

Penn College closed out the week with a win at Penn State Mont Alto. The Wildcats were led in scoring by Holmes, who tallied a personal season-high 24 points.
