Weekend Vehicle Accident Fatal to Welding Student

    Anthony M. Doran, 21, of Howard, a student in Penn College's welding major, died Saturday, May 26, from injuries suffered in a traffic accident in Howard Township, Centre County. The college flags will be lowered to half-staff, and a memorial brick will be placed in the Remembrance Garden in his honor. Any student wishing to receive counseling may call Counseling Services at (570) 327-4765. Arrangements are being handled by the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg. Memorials may be made to The Anthony Michael Doran Memorial Welding Award, in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 288, Milesburg, PA 16853.
