With chalk in hand on the eve of their planned Thursday bash, both groups worked for two and a half hours to colorfully prepare their message for the following day’s pedestrians. Rain washed away their creativity, as well as the event, which has been rescheduled for Thursday, Sept.8, along Vine Avenue (behind The Village).
