A total of 23 teams comprising 154 people took part in Saturday’s Walk-It-Out event, helping to raise $5,724 for the American Cancer Society. Food, games and camaraderie complemented the day’s main activity, a mini-Relay for Life held on the Madigan Library Lawn. The Wildcat Events Board, the Residence Hall Association and the Student Government Association aimed high, hoping to collect $10,000 through a variety of activities that included the sale of paper footprints and a Quizzo competition. But while falling short of that goal, WEB adviser Michael J. Hersh termedthe charity walk”a great job nonetheless.” Photos by Jessica L. Tobias, student photographer
