WAHS Students Practice Culinary Photography at Le Jeune Chef

    Napkin artistry in the Thompson Professional Development CenterStudents from the Williamsport Area High School photography and digital media class toured Penn College's Le Jeune Chef Restaurant in February, gathering material for regional competition later this month. School of Hospitality chefs prepared salads, entrees, sandwiches and desserts for students to photograph, and Layne E. Eggers, assistant school dean, demonstrated decorative napkin-folding and how to display silverware and glasses for an attractive table setting. The students will incorporate some of their photographs into projects for the BLaST Intermediate Unit 17 Computer Fair, to be held March 26 at the college Field House. More photos have been posted to the Williamsport Area School District website by Greg L. Hayes, the district's director of public relations.
