Colin P. McNoldy, newly profiled on Penn College's YouTube Channel, credits his time in the U.S. Air Force for making him into what he is today: an outstanding civil engineering technology major in the college's School of Construction & Design Technologies. Hailing from the Schuylkill County community of Muir, he is well on his way toward a goal of working in the bridge department of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. In addition to his studies, McNoldy serves as an aide to the college's Veterans Office, helping other servicemen and women through the admissions/financial aid process. Noting that Maggie Jackson, a 2008 alumna of his major is project manager for a long-awaited (and multimillion-dollar) Route 15 bypass in the Shamokin Dam/Hummels Wharf area, "Thanks to my military background and the education I'm receiving at Penn College, I feel confident that I'll be able to do something special like that."
