Variety of Microsoft Classes to Be Offered This Spring

Instruction in two Microsoft Office programs – OneNote and Excel – is among the many enrichment classes available through Workforce Development & Continuing Education at Pennsylvania College of Technology.



All of the sessions will be in Room 134 of the Center for Business & Workforce Development, 1127 W. Fourth St., at the northwest corner of the college’s main campus in Williamsport:

OneNote (IST 632) – 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 22
Learn to create, organize, and share your notes and information with others. Topics include creating a notebook; entering, formatting and organizing notes; creating templates; and integrating with other applications.

Excel: Level I (MST 963) – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 18
Gain the skills necessary to create basic worksheets, perform calculations, modify and format worksheets, and manage and print workbooks.

Excel: Level II (MST 967) – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 25
Designed for those desiring advanced skills necessary for calculating data using functions and formulas, sorting and filtering data, visualizing data using charts, using PivotTables and PivotCharts for analyzing data, and customizing workbooks.

Excel: Level III (MST 978) – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 3
Delve into some of the more specialized and advanced capabilities of Excel. Topics include automating common tasks, applying advanced analysis techniques to more complex data sets, collaborating on worksheets with others, and sharing Excel data with other applications.
