Leroy Joiner Craig Flint Two Penn College men's basketball players have been named to the 2009 Penn State University Athletic Conference All-Conference Team. Leroy Joiner, a freshman guard from Williamsport, and Craig Flint, a senior guard from Port Allegany, were honored by the conference Monday. Joiner, an early childhood education major, led the team in scoring this season with 492 points. Penn College finished 14-4 in all PSUAC games and reached the Elite Eight. "Leroy made us go this year with assists, rebounding and scoring," Wildcats coach Gene Bruno said. Earlier, Joiner was named a United States Collegiate Athletic Association Division II All-American. Flint, a marketing major, ends his career as Penn College's all-time leading scorer with 1,196 points. This season, while helping the Wildcats to an 18-12 record and sixth-place finish in the USCAA Division II national tournament, Flint scored 359 points. "(As a four-year player) Flint was part of the building block of the program. We've elevated our program and he was a big part of that," Bruno said. Photos by Jessica L. Tobias, student photographer
