Students at Penn College’s Lumley Aviation Center in Montoursvillehad an opportunity to view two helicopters on Thursday. An MD 500 from AGROTORS Inc. in Gettysburg (left) visited before resuming power-line inspections for PPL. The pilot spoke about the helicopter’s maneuverability, uses and maintenance issues. The second was a BK-117 Life Flight helicopter from Keystone Helicopters Inc., flying out of Williamsport. Thataircraft is primarily maintained in Wilkes-Barre by Jeffery S. Gazey, a 2002Penn College graduate. The pilot answered students’ questions about maintenance and reliability of the helicopter’s systems. ( Photos by William F.
