Two Dozen Campus Women Added to ‘Awesome’ Roster

Nineteen Penn College students and five employees were added to the list of Awesome Women Exemplars during a recent annual reception, sponsored by the Student Activities Office and held in the Mountain Laurel Room of the Thompson Professional Development Center. The latest group, nominated from the campus community, brings to 294 the number of inspiring inductees since 2006. and held in the Mountain Laurel Room of the Thompson Professional Development Center, the event included remarks by Kimberly R. Cassel, director of student activities, and a keynote speech by Carolyn R. Strickland, assistant vice president for academic services – both inducted at a similar event in 2008.
