THON Participants Benefit from 'Pride Week' Drag Show

PC Alliance hosted Thursday's annual Drag Show in the Field House, the pinnacle event of Penn College’s inaugural Pride Week. Hosted by Carol Ann Carol Ann, the show featured performances by drag professionals Chynna Buffet, Carmen Ciara and Johnny Hancock. Students Charlotte C. Roxberry and Adam R. Harrison, as well as members of Sigma Pi fraternity and the Student Government Association, joined in the fun. More than 225 students and community members attended the event, co-sponsored by Residence Life, the Wildcat Events Board and SGA.  PC Alliance President Wesley G. Ginnick chaired the planning of the event, assisted by Vice President Duncan Rodriguez. Proceeds, which totaled $188, will go toward students who fundraise with PCT Benefiting THON to assist with expenses (such as travel for "canning" weekends) in the next collection season.
