In keeping with an all-college community effort for energy savings and resource management, Darlene A. Warner, secretary of the Children's Learning Center, offers this Green Tip of the Week: "When needing to distribute group information, use e-mail to replace duplicating of single papers. The Children's Learning Center will realize a savings of paper supplies in the coming year of $2,160 by e-mailing our 50 families monthly newsletters, calendars and menus." Just a reminder that we can all do our part! The weekly tip is a cooperative venture of The Energy Conservation Subcommittee of Penn College's Governance system and the School of Natural Resources Management's Horticulture Department. (Contacts for the feature are Gail B. Landers, group leader at the Children's Learning Center and a subcommittee member, and Carl J. Bower Jr., horticulture instructor.)
