Thirteen Students Awarded Scholarships From Caterpillar Fund

Thirteen students in Pennsylvania College of Technology's School of Natural Resources Management each have been awarded $1,000 scholarships from the Caterpillar Excellence Fund for the Fall 2004 semester.
Scholarship recipients are:
Diesel Technology Nathaniel C. Aldinger, Laporte; Stephen C. Barats, RR 3 Canton; and Andrew E. Murrow, York.
Heavy Construction Equipment Technology-Operator Emphasis Edward J. Balulis, Pottsville; Nicholas D. Branning, RR 1 Waymart; James Christy, Bloomsburg; Matthew D. Grimminger, RR 3 Altoona; David R. Kessling, Port Matilda; Miranda M. Perrin, RR 1 Alexandria; and David S. Skeates, Frewsburg, N.Y.
Heavy Construction Equipment Technology-Technician Emphasis Denton S. Mitchell, Clarion; and Travis Erdley, Danville.
Heavy Construction Equipment Technology-CAT Emphasis Nathan D. Helfrich, Souderton.
The Caterpillar Excellence Fund a partnership of the Caterpillar Foundation, participating dealers and schools has provided Penn College with more than $1 million over the past decade in substantial equipment contributions and scholarship assistance to students.
The participating dealers are: Alban Tractor Co. Inc., Baltimore; Beckwith Machinery Co., Murrysville; Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co. Inc., Harrisburg; Giles & Ransome, Bensalem; and H.O. Penn Machinery Co. Inc., Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
The Heavy Construction Equipment and Diesel Technology majors are based at the College's Schneebeli Earth Science Center campus near Allenwood.
