Teleconference to Offer Millennial Investment Strategies

A panel of forward-thinking experts on investing and personal finance will be featured in a free 90-minute teleconference, "Financial Strategies for a New Century," from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, in Pennsylvania College of Technology's Advisement Center.
With the financial world changing faster than ever, many people are wondering about the state of their own savings and investments. How are online stock trades and global cash flows affecting individual investors in a retirement plan, Individual Retirement Account or mutual funds? What poses a bigger threat: inflation or deflation? What about the impact of the "Y2K" problem?
TIAA-CREF, a national investment firm with 80 years of retirement experience, is presenting the satellite teleconference to size up those challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, be they planning for retirement, saving for college, managing credit or buying a new home in today's dynamic investment climate.
