Representatives of Penn College’s School of Transportation & Natural Resources Technologies are welcoming guests to the 163rd annual Bloomsburg Fair, talking with alumni and prospective students at the ever-popular annual event. Carl J. Bower, associate professor of horticulture, and his classes showed off their major in an attractive booth that featured a student-designed fire pit and patio, along with a water feature on loan from Natural Waterscapes in South Williamsport. Other majors – including collision repair, aviation, Honda PACT and automotive restoration – were featured elsewhere in the sprawling venue, with a display that includes vehicles and a paint simulator.
