Besides taking preparatory classes in math, English, reading and study skills, they attended a lecture by Veronica M. Muzic (vice president for academic affairs/provost) on college policies; shared lunch with college deans; enjoyed a presentation by Troy Stende, a national motivational speaker; and participated in a service-learning project at Sycamore Manor. In this final week, the students will have an opportunity to retest for their college placement, present their Learning Community project and enjoy a field trip to Philadelphia. A graduation breakfast Friday will close their stay on campus.
