Summer hours announced for reopened Fitness Center

After nearly 15 months, The Fitness Center is open! Penn College employees must purchase their memberships through payroll deduction using the form on the center’s myPCT portal page. Summer hours are 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 7 a.m.-1 p.m. Fridays. The Fitness Center, on the second floor of the Bush Campus Center, is closed on weekends.

A number of guidelines have been shared by Jeremy R. Bottorf, coordinator of campus recreation:

  • Masks are required at all times.
  • Machines must be cleaned after each use.
  • Locker rooms are open, but showers are still closed.
  • Please bring your own towels; The Fitness Center will not be offering towel service.
  • Water fountains are open; bring a water bottle and refill it.
  • The maximum occupancy is 45 patrons at a time. Check the counter on The Fitness Center portal page before arriving.
  • Dauphin Hall fitness facility will remain closed for the summer.
