Students Take Part in Downtown Window-Painting


A storefront project takes shape Outside looking in, on the artist at work Two graphic design students from Penn College were among those adding seasonal color to storefronts in downtown Williamsport on Wednesday afternoon. Barbara A. Andreassen, of Montoursville, and Timothy A. Miller, of Williamsport, pictured at work on a window at Elijah’s, Fourth and Market streets, were part of a volunteer effort organized by local artist Kristina Snook-Kohr on behalf of the Williamsport Merchants and Business Association. The holiday project will be judged during this week’s First Friday, a monthly effort to showcase local artists and their work through exhibitions and other events downtown.(Photos by Phillip C.
