Students Savor Varied 'Tastes of Williamsport'

    Palate-pleasing offerings from Mr. Sticky Kimball's patrons and their wing-serving host have fun with the photographer Another satisfied patron Locally owned restaurants brought their wares to Penn College on Tuesday afternoon, tempting students and faculty/staff with "Tastes of Williamsport" from their kitchens. Gathered outside the Susquehanna Room, the eateries distributed menus and low-priced samples to an estimated 225-300 customers. The first-ever event was sponsored by Community Assistants, Student Activities and Food Services. Community Assistant Andrew R. Christoffel, whonoted that businesses loved the opportunity to interact with students and advertise to them, said plans are to donate the proceeds (more than $100) to a food bank or similar charity.
