According to a recap by intramural assistant Jeremy R. Bottorf, the staff/faculty team (led by Gallahad Mallery and Jim Williams Jr.) mounted a small comeback to start the second half. The student team, which shot three-pointers better than foul shots, allowed its opponents to cut the lead to 15, but the students ran the floor well and never looked back. Mallery led the way with 16 points for the staff/faculty team and Williams chipped in with 13. Bryan Waltz scored four points, and Joe Worth, Eric Ranck, Joe Mileto, Adrian Harry and Chris Leigh each had two. Ty Holland led the student team with 13 points, and Brandon Sauers, Jon Boob, Ben Vincent, and Jordan Kilbourn each had 11. Woznisky added 10 points, and quick, crisp passing from Josh Bengel set up a majority of the three-point barrage. Andrew Eastep and Keith Woznisky started the run-and-gun offense by rebounding the ball and getting it out quickly to fuel the fast breaks, Bottorf said.
