Students Receive Achievement Awards

Pennsylvania College of Technology presented Student Achievement Awards at its August commencement exercises, which were held Friday, Aug. 11, at the Community Arts Center in Williamsport.

The students and their awards are:

PRESIDENT'S AWARD for leadership and service to the College: Amrita D. Alwani, Erie, Physician Assistant.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS' AWARD for achievement under exceptional conditions: Robert A. Frear, Williamsport, Aviation Technology.

ACADEMIC VICE PRESIDENT/PROVOST AWARD for scholastic achievement and service: Ryan K. Gantz, Manheim, Physician Assistant.

BETH ANN LAMB MEMORIAL AWARD for the student who exhibits a commitment to the Radiography program and love of the profession: Julie A. Novak,Nescopeck, Radiography.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT FACULTY AWARD for the student who has demonstrated dedicated service to the program: Jolene S. Hoffman, Williamsport, Occupational Therapy Assistant.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT MAJOR AWARD for the student who demonstrates outstanding academic achievement: Stacy L. Hyde, Selinsgrove, Occupational Therapy Assistant.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT MAJOR AWARD for the student who demonstrates the most improvement and professional growth: Catherine F. Marion, Muncy, Occupational Therapy Assistant.

RADIOGRAPHY MAJOR FACULTY AND STAFF AWARD for the student who exemplifies outstanding clinical attributes and technical skill as evidenced through their 24-month clinic practicum education: Jonetta L. Wilson, Selinsgrove, Radiography.

SUSQUEHANNA IMAGING ASSOCIATES AWARD for the student who most nearly exemplifies the ideals of selflessness, unusual devotion to duty, sensitivity to the patient's comfort and needs, and service to colleagues, patients and the hospital, beyond the ordinary: Jacqueline L. McAllister, Lewisburg, Radiography.
