Students Make Chocolate Houses to Benefit Habitat for Humanity

Chocolate houses created by students in the Baking and Pastry Arts major at Pennsylvania College of Technology will help Williamsport/Lycoming Habitat for Humanity continue its mission of building affordable housing for low-income families in need of adequate shelter.

The chocolate houses will be sold in a silent auction to be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Dec. 7 at the Genetti Hotel and Convention Center, 200 W. Fourth St., Williamsport. The students’ creations may be viewed that day from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Light confections and refreshments will be served. The event is open to the public.
