Remembrance Garden under construction outside BTCStudents from the School of Construction and Design Technologies are displaying their knowledge and skills by creating an area of respite to be enjoyed by the Penn College community. A Remembrance Garden, designed by students in the architecture program at the college, is being constructed on the east side of the Carl Building Technologies Center. The shapes will be adorned with decorative concrete, exposed aggregate and clay brick, formed and placed by the BCT238 Concrete Construction classes. The activity provides a way for students to leave a piece of their education for years of remembrance. Approximately 85 students participated in the challenge so far. Information will be available at a later date regarding the purchase of bricks in memory of Penn College employees, students and alumni.
