Student Help Desk Available at Penn College


Information Technology Services reminds students to take advantage of the Student Help Desk at Penn College.

The mission of the Student Help Desk is to provide computer-related assistance to our students. The help desk is committed to providing a reliable “single point-of-contact” by giving courteous and prompt attention to each incoming request.

The Student Help Desk can answer general computer questions and assist with a variety of computer issues, including hardware and software troubleshooting, Internet connections (wired and wireless), viruses and spyware.

During January, the Student Help Desk assisted 48 students with computer-related issues, one-third of which were spyware/adware -related. The Student Help Desk is open Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and Friday, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Weekend hours are Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, 2:30 to 11 p.m.
