Student Chosen to Compete in 'Mrs. Pennsylvania' Pageant

Brett O'ConnerBrett O'Conner, a Pennsylvania College of Technology student majoring in business administration: marketing concentration, has been selected as Mrs. Hughesville International 2008 and will compete in the Mrs. Pennsylvania International Pageant in Altoona on March 29.

The Mrs. International Pageant system sets itself apart from other pageants by its criteria: Judging is based 50 percent on interview (including an on-stage platform presentation) and 25 percent each on aerobic wear (replacing the swimwear competition), and evening gown.

The winner of the 2008 Mrs. Pennsylvania International Pageant will receive a generous prize packet and represent the Keystone State in July at the Mrs. International Pageant in Chicago.
