The Penn College Student Athlete Advisory Committee participated in “Reading With the Wildcats” at Sheridan Elementary School on Thursday, the fifth year that the Wildcats have taken part in the Read Across America observance.  Celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday (March 2), 11 student-athletes and two Athletics Department representatives traveled to the school, which is part of the Williamsport Area School District.  The group performed “Hunches in Bunches” by Seuss, then individually read stories in classrooms to promote reading. Students taking part were: Eileen Harrington, cross-country; Cora R. Bova, Britni M. Fennell, Stephanie N. Keifrider and Lacy M. Lose, softball; and Cody E. and Zachary J. Buterbaugh, Kyle J. Eck, Rantz R. Mahaffey, Jeremy D. Rall and Craig T. Watson, baseball.
