Spring Career Day

About 1,015 seventh-, eighth- and ninth-grade students from 11 schools and one home school participated in hands-on activities across campus Monday during Outreach for K-12’s semi-annual Career Day. Originally scheduled for March but postponed due to snow, the day offers younger students the opportunity to see a college campus while learning about a wide variety of careers. Sessions were facilitated by Penn College faculty and staff. Visitors and their 125 chaperones hailed from Columbia-Montour Area Vocational Technical School, Indiana County Technology Center, Jersey Shore Area School District, Southern Tioga School District, Montgomery Area School District, Penns Valley Area School District, Shikellamy School District, South Williamsport Area School District and Williamsport Area School District.
