SkillsUSA Competitions Held on Main Campus


HVAC competition in the Carl Building Technologies Center's refrigeration lab Technical Drafting in a College Avenue Labs classroom Nearly two dozen students from seven area schools Keystone Central Career and Technology Center, Williamsport Area High School, SUN Area Technical Institute, Columbia-Montour Area Vocational Technical School, Schuylkill Technology Center-South Campus, Lycoming Career and Technology Center, and Northumberland Co. Area Vocational Technical School visited Penn College on Jan. 29 for the SkillsUSA District 6 Skills Competitions. Scattered among a number of main-campus laboratories, the students competed in architectural and technical drafting; plumbing; heating, ventilation and air conditioning; welding; and masonry before adjourning to the Susquehanna Room for lunch and an awards ceremony.
