Singers Needed for New Civic Chorus Season

Faculty/staff and students are invited to join the Williamsport Civic Chorus, which is looking for singers for its 2011-12 season. There are no auditions, everyone is welcome and there is music for all tastes. The first concert (Nov. 20) will feature bluegrass music, while a concert in April will showcase the works of Beethoven and Haydn. Come for one concert or stay for both! Dues are reasonable and are very low for students. Rehearsals are from 7-9 p.m.Mondays at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 142 Market St., Williamsport (by the Market Street bridge). Parking-lot access is from Mulberry Street; participants should use the rear door to enter the church. Anyone in need of additional information should contact Debra A.Buckman, assistant professor of chemistry and environmental science (and one of several members of the Penn College community in the chorus).
