Retired Air Force Col. Timothy D. Bair was at the Lumley Aviation Center on April 20 to present results of the Space Shuttle Columbia accident investigation. Bair was a member of the Columbia Accident Investigation Board as an investigator from February to August 2002. The briefing he presented is the official CAIB debrief given to members of Congress, NASA, the families of the Columbia crew and many others since the board concluded its investigation.
