This is the second year in which council members joined in celebrating Read Across America at the school. The student-athletes sang "Happy Birthday" to Dr. Seuss, introduced themselves, participated in the Read Across America Day Macarena, read a poem and performed a Reader's Theater production of "The True Story of the Three Little Pigs." Before leaving, the students visited each classroom and read books that were chosen by the schoolchildren.
