Powell, retired secretary to the senior vice president, returns to campus for Silent Auction Student watercolor among unique artwork up for sale Student photographs auctioned to raise scholarship money Pottery, jewelry displayed for potential bidders Crowd circulates among wares in Penn's Inn The Student Government Association held a Silent Auction at Penn's Inn (CC, second floor) Wednesday. Open bidding was from noon-6 p.m. Light refreshments were served at 5 p.m.; winning bids were announced at 7 p.m. Auction items ranged from unique student work, other one-of-a-kind items, and services from organizations and small businesses in the surrounding community. All proceeds benefit the Student Leadership Legacy Scholarship Fund. Items and services auctioned, some of them captured here by Jessica L. Tobias, student photographer,included:
