Bloodmobile collects 227 pintsA total of 227 pints of blood were collected by the American Red Cross during Penn College's first two-day blood drive of the fall semester. "Another great job by our students," noted Carl L. Shaner, College Health Services director. "They show that giving is very important each time the blood drive comes to campus." Every pint potentially saves three lives, so 681 people ultimately could benefit from the contributions by students, faculty and staff.  Donors were treated to pizza and other giveaways Tuesday and Thursday, courtesy of Dining Services and John Machak from The Wealth Factory. The next Bloodmobile visit will be Nov. 6-7 in Penn's Inn, on the second floor of the Bush Campus Center.
