Twenty students hoped to be crowned Root Beer Pong champion Monday night, but, when it was over, Mark E. Golembiewski had breezed through the winners’ bracket to win the tournament. Samuel J. DiOttavio, the 2011 victor looking to repeat, finished in seventh place.  “A big ‘Thank you’ to everyone who participated and enjoyed ice-cold root beers,” said intramural assistant Jeremy R. Bottorf, who also provided the photos. Another tournament is planned for the spring semester.
