Season of Celebration Brings Renewed Call for Vigilance on Fake IDs

Jeff McGinnis welcomes licensees to training session in Penn's Inn With graduation and prom season just around the corner, the Bush Campus Center hosted a Fictitious Identification Training Session on Monday afternoon to give bartenders, bouncers and other licensees added pointers on fighting underage drinking. Speakers for the event co-sponsored by the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement and the College and Community Coalition (of which Penn College is a founding member) were state police Sgt. Jeff McGinnis and Cpl. Rick Goodling. Through public-service videos and examples of phony identification cards circulating the area, the presenters explained how attendees can spot and report fraudulent IDs in their establishments.
