School of Hospitality Filling Part-Time Substitute Positions

The School of Hospitality is seeking individuals for the following positions in Le Jeune Chef Restaurant part-time substitute pool: Casual Part-Time Dishroom/Kitchen Helper, Hospitality; Substitute Dishroom/Kitchen Helper, Hospitality; Casual Part-Time Waitstaff, Le Jeune Chef; and Catering Substitute Waitstaff, Le Jeune Chefand Catering.

Minimum qualifications include:

For Waitstaff

  • Successful completion of Dining Room Management course or three months of work experience as waitstaff.

  • Ability to follow oral and written direction.

  • Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively, courteously, and in a positive manner with students, faculty, staff, and the public.

  • Sensitivity to the expectations of patrons and the public.

  • Demonstrated sensitivity to diversity and multicultural issues.


For Dishroom/Kitchen Helpers

  • Interpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with faculty, staff, students, and the public.

  • Ability to perform simple tasks following oral instruction.

  • Ability to read gauges or be trained to do so.

  • Demonstrated sensitivity to diversity and multicultural issues.
