Scholarship, Internship Opportunities Available From Homebuilder

    One of the nation's Top 10 homebuilders has scholarship and internship opportunities available for full-time students interested in residential construction. Application deadlines for the Beazer Homesscholarships are Oct. 29 for the Spring 2005 semester and Feb. 28 for Fall 2005. Scholarships ($1,500 per semester) and internships are awarded on the basis of an application and interview, and both require a 2.5 overall grade-point average and a 3.0 GPA within the applicant's major. Internships are available in construction management, land development, purchasing and estimating, accounting and finance, information technology, and marketing and sales. Application packets are available in the School of Construction and Design Technologies (LRC, Room 154).
