'Saturday Night Live' Co-Star Coming to Arts Center

Kenan Thompson"Saturday Night Live" co-star Kenan Thompson will perform at the Community Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 27, a one-night-only appearance sponsored by Pennsylvania College of Technology's Student Activities Office and the Arts Center.

Reserved-seat tickets ($10 each for students and $20 for faculty/staff and the public) are on sale at the Bush Campus Center Information Desk on Penn College's main campus and at the Arts Center box office downtown.

Thompson, in his sixth season on "Saturday Night Live," has made numerous contributions to the show including impressions of Bill Cosby, the Rev. Al Sharpton and Star Jones and he has entertained as DJ Dynasty Handbag, the scathingly fierce co-host of "Club Traxxx."

A native of Atlanta, Thompson made his television debut as a member of Nickelodeon's all-kid sketch-comedy series, "All That." He and his partner, Kel Mitchell, co-starred in a spinoff show, "Kenan and Kel," and in the Paramount hit feature film, "Good Burger." Thompson also had a recurring role on The WB's "Felicity."

He recently appeared opposite Samuel L. Jackson in the buzzed-about "Snakes on a Plane" and will next be seen in the comedy "Wieners." Other film credits include "Fat Albert," "D2: The Mighty Ducks," "Rocky & Bullwinkle," "Heavyweights" with Ben Stiller, "The Boss' Daughter" with Ashton Kutcher and "Barbershop 2."
