‘Rock the Vote’ Promotes Registration, Informed Electorate

Nadonley, an information technology: information assurance and security concentration major from Cresson, with his voter-registration application Aftermath takes the floor to 'Rock the Vote' Musical entertainment and civic responsibility intersected Thursday evening in the Field House, where bands and free pizza provided additional incentive for electoral participation. The “Rock the Vote” event organized by nursing student Amanda L. Twigg, of Dallastown, with guidance from Sara R. Hillis, associate director of student activities offered convenient voter registration for Pennsylvania’s April 24 primary election, as well as giving students an opportunity to cast their online preferences for Student Government Association officers. Candidate information was available from representatives of the Democratic and Republican parties, and live music was provided by the Students of Musical Development organization and Aftermath.
