Rock-a-Thon Raises $1,500 for Memorial Scholarship

Garis Scholarship Fund, Sigma Pi Fraternity held a 24-hour Rock-a-Thon on Friday. Sixteen brothers of the Theta Phi Chapter sat on rocking chairs in the CC TV Lounge, rocking back and forth to collect an astonishing $1,500 in pledges. A chapter spokesman said the scholarship in Tracy’s name is very close to the brothers’ hearts; fraternity members worked extremely hard to get donations and thank everyonewhocontributed money.
