RHA Members Attend Regional Conference

Members of the Residence Hall Association attended a regional Central Atlantic Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls "No Frills" conference at the New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, N.J., from Feb. 8-10. Penn College has been associated with CAACURH since RHA was established 10 years ago. The conference brings in groups of RHA students from seven surrounding states to meet, plan and bid for regional and national recognition. Those in attendance included David Bateman, president; Jackie Daniels, vice president; Jeff Pacheco, national communications coordinator; Jamie Lear, National Residence Hall Honorary president; and Katie Mackey, adviser. Collin Zimmerman also attended, as he recently was offered a position with the Regional Board as regional communications coordinator for resources development. Mackey was awarded a Cougar Pride Award and Zimmerman was recognized with a Silver Pin Award, both given to individuals who provide leadership and direction to CAACURH.
