Retired counselor to be honored through private services

Private family services will pay tribute to James A. “Jim” Bryan, 89, who died Thursday, May 6. A graduate of Danville High School and Lycoming College, he earned a master's degree in counseling from Bucknell University in 1969. He retired in 1993 from Penn College, where he was a counselor for developmental studies and the Act 101 educational opportunity program. Arrangements are being handled by Maneval Allen Redmond Funeral Home, 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport, which posted a full obituary to its website.
