Residence Life Honors Jenn Brinkley as ‘RA of the Month’

Jenn Brinkley named 'RA of the Month'Residence Life recently recognized Rose Street Apartment Resident’s Jenn Brinkley with the honor of “Resident Assistant of the Month.” Brinkley, a senior Welding and Fabrication Engineering Technology major from Slate Lick, is serving in her second year as an RA at Pennsylvania College of Technology.

Brinkley, whoserves as an RA in the First-Year Experience housing program, finds it especially satisfying to watch the first-year students change and grow over the course of the year. It is obvious that, for Brinkley, this is more than just a job, but rather a chance to impact others by making positive, personal connections. It is not uncommon to see residents in her room spending time, as they find her to be easy to talk to.

Staff noted thatBrinkley has been a solid Resident Assistant over the past year and a half: always positive, willing to go above and beyond, and maintaining great rapport with her residents.

One of her recent accomplishments was the very successful coordination and planning of the “Man Show” that was held during Penn College’s recent Sexual Awareness Week.
