More than 150 pints of blood were collected by the American Red Cross during last week’s two-day visit to Penn’s Inn, according to figures shared by Penn College Health Services. Each of the 156 units donated (75 on Wednesday and 81 on Thursday) has the potential to save three lives, so as many as 468 patients benefited from the Bloodmobile turnout. The next campus blood drive will be held Jan. 14-15.
